Class Policies

Reservations: Classes are reserved on a first come basis. Only full payment of the class fee will reserve the class for you. Sorry no shop gift certificates can be used for class fee/payment.

Cancellation:  We will cancel a class if less than the minimum number of students required is met five days before the class begins. If WE cancel, we will happily (a) refund your money, (b) apply the amount towards another class or (c) apply the amount towards the purchase of merchandise.  Please mark your calendar when you sign up for classWe do not make reminder calls. If we make a change in the scheduled class we will to contact you. 

Refunds: Your class fee is refundable or transferable up to one week (7 days) prior to the first time the class meets. There will be no refund of class fees if you fail to attend or cancel within the 7 day period preceding the class.

Supplies:  At the time of registration, please pick up a supply list for your class.  Supplies, if requested, should be brought to your class unless otherwise noted.

A Few Additional Matters: Please be familiar with your machine, how to fill bobbins and have an overall general knowledge of sewing.  This is to keep the class moving at the right pace.  We do offer private lessons.  Please contact the shop if you are interested.

Out of consideration to your fellow students and the instructor, please no children or visitors in classes. Please make other arrangements for childcare.  Please be considerate of others and their allergies and refrain from wearing fragrances.
